Great tool so far - but PLEASE fix the fonts. They are HUGE. For example, the 'meeting name' does NOT need to be so big. Neither do the agenda section headings while in the 'edit' mode. And the 'Approval' box....that can be close to a quarter of the size.

    Hi James,

    Thanks for your comments.

We're currently preparing a new version of MinuteBase which addresses many of your criticisms.

Certainly the meeting titles are a little more reserved!

We'll let you know when it's live, please keep the comments coming we'll see if they can be rolled in to the new version.

    All the best,

    Fabian

    Fabian,

Can you tell me more about how this tool is supported? Are you an established
company? How many paying customers do you have? Are you profitable? Where is
the data hosted, how is it backed up, and do you have any users in Europe and
China (will we have access issues)?

    Thanks,

    Hi James,

As MinuteBase itself hasn't fully launched yet we don't have any paying customers, all accounts are free throughout the beta. We aren't providing user numbers at the moment, but we currently have users spread throughout the globe, a number of which are based in China and as far as I'm aware we haven't had any access issues from there.

Data is hosted on our servers in the US, with files uploaded to Amazon S3 for maximum speed and availability for our users. We will soon be introducing export functionality so that you will be able to retrieve everything in a number of formats should you want to keep copies outside of MinuteBase.

We currently perform daily backups of our databases which we keep for up to a week. No data is destroyed (unless you close your account), so if you delete a meeting or even a individual minute accidentally then it's retrievable. There isn't an interface for this at the moment, but if you get in touch we'll be happy to help with any such issues.

I hope this answers your questions, please let us know if we can be of any more help.

    Thanks.

lol personally i love the big fonts etc. i totally support the ability to change them, but please don't create a default which can't be changed.

ps would be great if you could have multiple heading levels again!

    Hi Elliott,

You won't have very long to wait to try the next version of MinuteBase. It's, shall we say, "rich" with features.

    Cheers,

    Fabian

We'll be posting some sneak-previews of what we've got coming up in the blog over the next week or so. We're getting close, but are aware it's been a bit of a wait and we've been too quiet about what we've been working on.

Thanks for all your feedback, hopefully you'll be pleased with what we've done with the new release!
